Vishal Dhupar is responsible for the development and execution of the region’s strategic plans at NVIDIA. NVIDIA invented the GPU in 1999 and, from its roots as a PC graphics company, has gone on to become the world leader in AI computing. Vishal is chartered to develop and maintain relations with government, public institutions and industry representative bodies.

With over three decades of leadership experience in the technology industry, Vishal has deep expertise in working closely and strategically with a range of customers, and his passion for customer success is the foundation of the culture for his organisation. He has managed and led companies to a leadership position across diverse businesses - Servers, Graphics, Engineering Design, Security, Networking and Data Storage. Vishal Dhupar has played a pivotal role in fostering key partnerships with the ecosystem to accelerate the growth and adoption of GPU technology in India.

Over the past three decades, Vishal has been the recipient of several performance awards all through his working career in various organisations. In 2016, Vishal was honoured as technology evangelist of the year, and CEO of the year in 2014 by VAR India. In 2007, he got awarded as the ‘IT-People Young Achiever’ for his excellence and contribution to the Information Technology industry in India.

Analytics India Magazine recognized Vishal as one of the 50 most influential Artificial Intelligence leaders in India in 2022. In 2022 Vishal was appointed the Chairperson of the Telangana IT Mission (T-AIM), an advisory body on Artificial Intelligence, to the Telangana State Government. Vishal is also an active member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

An expert in the area of Change Management, Vishal played an active role in understanding and applying the change in accordance with the business requirements during the Symantec-Veritas merger, specific to India. Vishal has to his credit the success of DCM, Digital Equipment, SGI, Autodesk, Sun Microsystems, Symantec and now Nvidia in India. Vishal has driven strategic business growth in the marketplace for the organisations and has successfully steered teams towards achievement of targets and high levels of customer satisfaction.
