Arul has been with Baring since 2010 and leads investments in auto, technology, manufacturing and media sectors. He has been actively involved in recommending investments in Matrimony.com, Homelane.com, Toch AI, Lohum CleanTech, Marico, and RMZ Corp. He has over 19+ years of combined investment experience.

Prior to Baring, Arul was with Citigroup for seven years, working in corporate finance and investment management roles. He was part of the Global Special Situations Group (GSSG) for three years, focused on multiple sectors. While at Citi, he has also worked with the origination and structuring desk.

Arul is a B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
