Anvesha advises governments, IFIs, utilities, developers and investors on policy, regulatory, strategy, transformation and finance matters across power generation technologies, networks as well as markets/ energy services. For the past decade, she has been focusing on emerging technologies including renewable energy, batteries, electric mobility, etc. In her career spanning over 20 years, she has worked in areas such as tax, corporate finance, investment advisory, strategy and policy matters which helps her provide uniquely blended perspectives to clients.
She co-leads global Climate change and Decarbonization initiatives under KPMG IMPACT, which focusses on providing solutions such as net zero pathways, corporate PPAs, green finance, strategy and transformation, climate risk management to clients globally.
Anvesha is passionate about Inclusion and Diversity and firmly believes that an inclusive workplace and a diverse workforce are critical for navigating the disruptions led by climate change and digitalization. As a part of the Inclusion and Diversity leadership council for KPMG India, she is leading many initiatives including multi-generational recruitment, creation of millennial council at KPMG.
She is an Economics graduate from Delhi University, a Chartered Accountant and CFA charter holder. She is a regular speaker on power sector issues in industry forums and is a recognized thought leader in the new energies space.
