Best Organisations for Women 2023

“There is no force more powerful than a woman determined to rise. “- Bosa Sebele, Lawyer, Conveyancer and Notary Public of the Court of Botswana.

Every firm must prioritise elevating the perspectives of their female employees. Businesses who fail to see the value of having more female employees are losing out. Having more women might not only double your talent pool but also boost the efficiency of your business.

In high-income nations in particular, women have been occupying management posts faster than males since 1991, but the figures also indicate that there is still a long way to go before women match the number of men in these positions. Additionally, we are still far from having a gender balance in executive positions and boardrooms at the top levels of industry. In addition, we are less likely to see women in leadership positions in larger companies.

Though we live in an era where women have a stronger voice than ever, there is still lots of room for progress. But progress and changes are happening. With this progress comes a strong element of corporate responsibility. It is on business leaders to ensure that modern workplace dynamics change with the times. Organisations don’t need to mimic what they have done in the past. Instead, they need to create workplace policies that are forward-thinking and all-encompassing in scope. Work needs to be a place where every employee is empowered to achieve their maximum potential, regardless of gender. For this to happen, we need to create a workplace where women thrive.
